Estoy en un programa de emprendimiento, y en junio plantearon un reto, al final resulta que lo finalicé y gané un premio: una formación en Benidorm.

La verdad es que ha sido una semana muy intensa a nivel de trabajo y de horas, aunque puede asegurarte que la he disfruta sin remordimientos, es más, es brutal como cuando desaparece la carga mental (el estar pendiente de todo lo que conlleva el día a día en una casa/familia) te invade una sensación de ligereza total, de libertad e incluso de plenitud.
Pero claro, llegar aquí ha tenido su proceso, y no ha sido fácil, soltar la culpa tiene su miga. Y es que las primeras veces que empecé a concederme estos placeres me sentía culpable, de hecho, la sensación de estar fallando a los demás era muy fuerte. Sentía pena, remordimientos incluso malestar físico por no estar cumpliendo con mi rol de madre/esposa/cuidadora familiar.
La revelación que lo cambió todo
Hasta que un día entendí algo que lo cambió todo:
“Cada vez que renuncio a lo que yo quiero por satisfacer a los demás, en realidad les digo sí a ellos… y no a mí.”
Este fue mi punto de inflexión.
Comprendí que mi responsabilidad no era solo con los demás… también era conmigo.
Darme cuenta de esto supuso un cambio radical a la hora de transformar la mirada sobre mí misma. Entender que no solo tenía una obligación con los demás, sino conmigo misma, y que lo mismo que daba a los demás ese cuidado, amor y apoyo tenía que dármelo a mí, fue revelador. Y déjame decirte que incluso mejoró mi manera de relacionarme con los demás, porque lo empecé a hacer desde una posición de poder, de sentir que tenía el poder sobre mí misma y podía decidir.
Y es que es muy diferente elegir desde el “tengo qué” al hacerlo desde el “elijo”, porque cuando tu elijes te sienta bien, te nutre y te da paz… lo cual disuelve la culpa de manera natural.
Hoy mi mantra es simple:
“Elegirme a mí no es egoísmo. Es amor propio en acción.”
Y te lo regalo, para que lo uses cuando lo necesites.
